A Video Memorial Tribute To My Cat - Bindy - 2006 To 2024 - (Beyond The Rainbow Bridge)
After first settings eyes on Bindy back in late October 2006, I knew we were destined to be together.
I have so many memories of my dearly departed girl and thankfully, I took many videos and photos of her over the years. This compilation is just a fraction of what I have and it was impossible to add everything. But what I have added I hope captures the spirit of Bindy and I equally hope that someone out there gains a little bit of happiness from this video which would show that even though she h passing, she is still bringing joy to others.
Bindy had a very varied life. Being born in Ockford Ridge in Godalming, Surrey she went on to live at no less than 14 places. Basingstoke, Watford, Ascot, Woking, Staines, Milton Keynes and Evesham to name but some. She definitely was well travelled and never had a problem getting in her carrier, sitting back and enjoying the journeys.
In 2008, at just over a year old she had a terrible accident, which gave her brain damage, an out of place jaw and the loss of sight in her left eye. Thankfully, after finding her, she was ruxhed to the local vet late on a sunday night and was well cared for. She never let these disablilties effect her and she went on to lead a life full of love, life and adventure right up to her last days in this life. Her last 20 hours she went downhill and I had to make the decision to put her to sleep. This was truly my last act of love that I could provide her. And she knew this. And for that I am gratful as I kmow I gave her a great life. Her age (17.3) was a testament to my care and love for her.
Bindy will always be my guardian angel from now on and is sorely missed by myself, all in my family and some friends who knew her. But as importantly, she is missed by her friend Izzy who remains here with me.
To anyone out there who watches this and has lost their Cat, dog, bird or any other pet. I feel your pain....and you are not alone. They are all beyond the Rainbow Bridge now waiting for us and from time to time, they are sending us messages to say they are ok.
The song in this video is called 'Beyond The Rainbow Bridge' and it is by Trina Belamide. I would like to thank Trina for this beautiful song It makes me cry so much as it is just so beautiful. The song is also copyright free, hence why I have also used it for Bindy's memorial tribute.
