So this is a fun little challenge I've been thinking about for a while... an Accelerate-only Full Campaign playthrough! Anyway, despite a fairly busy couple of months, I finally had some free time to record some attempts... so I did! =)

Anyway, since the later levels are more difficult than the earlier ones, I was kind of expecting the restarts to be more frequent in the later Zones... so, if it felt like I'd gathered too many restarts before Vespula, or too many between Vespula and Justice, or too many on a single level... I'd start the Campaign run over again. Thus, I actually ended up with some unintentional extra practice in the earlier Zones. ^^
Of course, in hindsight, I probably should've practiced the later Zones a bit as well, but... ah well. =)

Anyway, this Accelerate-only campaign run was a lot of fun to record... hope you enjoy!
Zone 5 notes:
- As you can probably guess based on the video length, Zone 5 was... slightly more troublesome than any of the previous 4 Zones. =)
- Control (5-2) in particular gave me more trouble than I thought it would. I probably would've done a lot better if I'd practiced and figured out a better strategy beforehand, and simply stuck to that strat, but... ah well. =) Though I guess if there's an appropriate year to learn from hindsight, it's this year... right? ^^;
Zone 5 - Nerve Centre:

1:33 Chain - ack! =p Heh, due to that first knockdown-restart, I was playing a little more conservatively than usual... and so ended up playing perhaps a bit too conservatively here. =)

5:57 Knockdown - oof! =p Heh, was paying too much attention to the powerup timing, and not enough to the leash-dogs. =)

12:08 Whew! Not sure why Control was giving me such problems today... oh, but looks like I somehow managed to beat my old high score, so... I guess it's not all bad! ^_^

19:10 Red - ack, was paying too much attention to Liquorice, and completely forgot to pay attention to the previously dropped powerups. ^^;;

19:34 Chain - heh, was expecting the brute to move closer and attack, but for some reason it seemed to get stuck. Didn't realize it at the time, but I think it got stuck because the singularity was pulling it towards the pillar. =)

24:59 Knockdown - ack, the Accelerate turned into a Shutdown, the Evil Helos blocked the path I was planning to take towards the battery, and I was trying to figure out a way to dive in and grab it... and wasn't paying attention to Justice's laser path. ^^;

Restarts tally:
Zone 1: 0
Zone 2: +0 = 0
Zone 3: +1 = 1 (1B)
Zone 4: +2 = 3 (2B, 1c)
Zone 5: +12 = 15 (2B, 2R, 5c, 6k)
So... going into this challenge, I basically had a 25-restart maximum in mind (i.e. average of 1 per level)... with 12 or less (avg. 1 per 2 levels) in mind as a hopefully-attainable goal.
So... not quite the "12 or less" I was hoping for, but not too far off, either! =)
Overall, I'm pretty happy with this playthrough, though. And it was definitely a lot of fun. ^_^
Oh, also, apparently this is my 100th Aubergine video, so... =)
