Absorbing Enemies As a Kirby-like Slime in An Action Roguelite | Zlime: Return of the Demon Lord
2Hello everyone! Here we are with a game that was recently released. This is Zlime: Return of the Demon Lord, a 2D action platformer roguelite, where you play as a demon lord turned into a slime and you have to fight your way through enemies to get your throne back. The main mechanic here, is that you can absorb the defeated enemies to transform into them, each enemy having different tiers (higher tier, higher stats and more skills), reminding a bit to V Rising, but 2D roguelike style. You also have relics, but you can carry up to 5 of them, but don't be afraid, if you find the right even, you can also merge them to create a new one with high chances to get a better one. Combat is really slow and sadly there is a lot of platforming, making combat not really smooth, but besides that I really like every mechanic in the game.
