After clearing the way to Santa Elva, it's time to finally go there and take on the monster that cost us our squadron at Cape Aubrey, the Gleipnir, and it's at full power here, so we'll need something good to deal with it, my pick for that is the XFA-24A Apalis! Tuned for some extra mobility, as I've shown at the start, and with XMAA, it's prepared for some big game hunting!

The Gleipnir starts briefly visible before activating its optical camouflage, it'll then head for your allies on the ground to eliminate them with its Shock Cannon, protect your allies by damaging the Gleipnir enough to break its camouflage, and it'll abandon the idea of attacking them, instead choosing to use SWBMs to take you out. The A-10A Ace, Firestorm, will appear at this point if the Gleipnir didn't get to fire its Shock Cannon more than once.
Stay below the Gleipnir as the SWBMs explode (And the cockpit view trick to reduce the screen shaking still works) and strip it from its defenses as you fight off the enemy planes coming to defend it, and it'll eventually try to destroy Santa Elva with the Shock Cannon, destroy that and the mission is over!

And for that one, I used a modded skin of my own design for the Apalis!
