The Acer Aspire One 722-0473 is an 11.6-inch HD LED notebook powered by an AMD processor. What we have here is a small simple device that is feature packed and relatively easy to use. Lets the the negative out the way, if you are getting this notebook, be aware it comes with only 2GB of ram and I suggest you upgrade it immediately to 4GB; with the 2GB of ram you get a lot of slowdowns in multitasking . Its an easy process which is detailed in the video review below.
So how well does the notebook perform, with the additional ram( right amount). The Acer Aspire One 722-0473 works like a charm. the AMD C-60 processor handles tasks with easy, giving you effortlessly browsing rich web content, enjoy smooth, vivid video playback or play casual games with responsive and energy efficient performance. It boasts great HD resolution and ATI Radeon™ HD 6290 Graphics with 256MB of dedicated system memory to deliver the performance you need. Experience smooth streaming of Internet videos from popular sites like Hulu.com or YouTube. It is great to see a sharp and clear display on a smaller screen at 11.6-inches with LED-backlit display with true cinematic 16:9 aspect ratio delivers an optimal viewing experience.
it just an inch then and 3lbs in weight, the netbook from Acer is easy to carry around, and easily fits into almost an bag you have. Its got a 6 cell battery and in our use we got max of 5.30 battery life, which is great. Acer also gave the Aspire One 722-0473 a full compliment of ports with 3 USB 2.0, HDMI-out, VGA, Multi-in1 card reader, Wireless 802.11b/g/n wireless 10/100 Ethernet LAN, 0.3 megapixel webcam; making this a complete mini computing package.
I enjoyed using the Acer Aspire One 722-0473( after install extra ram), its light, easy to use, great battery life, efficient processor and graphics for its size and package. Acer and AMD have done a stellar job here, and I can see this lead to AMD and Acer pushing into the ultrabook market with powerful and efficient processors.
