We start up a series of Across the Obelisk. While I could just go about doing something special here and starting from scratch, I just want to have fun with this series and stomp on some mooks here and there with some strategy, a type of style I rarely get to flex!
For this stream, we continued our third run, going through the swamps of Act 3 only to encounter severe trouble trying to bypass the Hydras who took out a lot of our fighting force! Due to these issues, we had to redo the fight a few times, but I eventually found a golden method that got us just barely to Act 4. From there, we pursued forward in hopes to handle the big bad, had some issues but we lucked out and got a fantastic item for Heiner, who reduces mana costs by 4 as a result for one high cost card. With that and other preparation, we managed to defeat the final boss and resolve ourselves for the next goal, MADNESS 2.
