We start up a series of Across the Obelisk. While I could just go about doing something special here and starting from scratch, I just want to have fun with this series and stomp on some mooks here and there with some strategy, a type of style I rarely get to flex!
For this stream, we started our Madness 2 run, taking along with us Bree, Gustav, Zek and Nezglekt. If I mispronounce their names I apologize for that, but I am just winging it on the names, and I think I did alright. Worst case I butcher them and embrace it. Regardless, we proceeded to dominate through Act 1, relying heavily on Insanity and Dark damage respectively. Insanity produces more damage overall, while Dark dealt chunks of damage in intervals. This steamrolling continued into Act 2 with some minor bumps, but thanks to Nezglekt and his insanity healing, we managed just fine. Thorns also played an important role for dealing with stragglers, and the bard Gustav just helped with adding to those numbers! By act 3, we had a ton of leeway to purge through any that stood in our way, and by the time we finished stream, we ended off right at the gates of the horror that is the Frost Dragon. Will we win?
