Well, 722gallade found her pretty fast.

Story - Writing these gets really difficult, since I write them after I post a video, and don't even think of it before that. "Quite some time ago, Yuri and Asbel trained together in order to reach badass levels of badassery. Then they signed up for the hardest challenge in the Coliseum. They had to drag Estelle with them, but somehow convinced the exploded-flower-skirt-wearing girl to stay out of combat and spam healing spells on them."

The requester simply asked for Asbel and Yuri versus anything, in a 2v2 battle.
After much consideration I chose Leon and Luke as their opponents, simply because these four characters are the most popular in all of Tales, according to some poll.

But then I though I might as well use the remaining character slots, and decided to put as many people as I could... and literally did that. The other opponents are "multi-people" characters to a certain extent.

Settings of the fight :
Everyone has a crap top on HP, instantly regenerating TP, and nigh-infinite OVL. Asbel and Yuri can also heal pretty easily, making the battle a lot easier. The initial foes want to go in OVL as soon as possible. The last two foes were programmed to spam their Assists a lot. Luke got his OVL LVL 2 Penetrate removed, but that seemed to have failed to some extent.
... and Asbel has a new AI.

I spent most of the time behind this video playing around with the AI (or CPU) option for the game. I had to experiment wildly to get the hang of it, and I still have a lot of trouble with some parts.
I remade Asbel's AI specifically for this permanent-Overlimit-Level-2-battle. He'll try to use specific combos I chose, and some moves will be used a random number of times before he changes. Also, two of his combos lead into Blast Calibers. But he must not be interrupted during the combo. Most of the time.
He's a lot more powerful, and that's essential for the later parts of the battle.


Strategy? Attack. Fiercely, but with thought and control.

For the record, I actually did program a victory quote for this fight, but it didn't happen. Not sure why.
