Empowering citizens to embrace active mobility is key to propelling Africaโ€™s Non-Motorized Transport Strategy forward. Part of the 10-year targets were set to build 1.86 miles of footpaths and 1.24 miles of bike paths.

This movement for active mobility is gaining momentum throughout the country, as new roads are designed with well-planned sidewalks and exclusive routes for cyclists, joggers, and families during open streets and car-free days.
