At first, I thought the scenes with Hino and Nagafuji feels disconnected and in their own little bubble. Then I pondered about how I could say the same with Yashiro. Now I'm just confused at my own feelings.
So I didn't note this in the video, but I like the contrast during Shimamura's little dilemma monologue. When she thought about the possibility of Adachi liking her and how this could change their relationship (or bend the backbone). Shimamura's surrounding was blurry and Adachi's face was blacked out and unrecognizable.
When she hears Adachi saying that she 'just wanted to hang out', her vision becomes clear and she can see Adachi again instead of this unknown person. Instead of accepting the possibility, Shimamura decides that Adachi is simply a lonely girl, and she has no one else to ask, so that's why she asked Shimamura. It totally isn't because of her, it's because there were no other options available.

Adachi spends her school days skipping class until she meets fellow delinquent Shimamura and the two become fast friends. Cutting class together deepens their friendship but soon unexpected emotions blossom. As awkwardness and confusion settle in, the two girls travel this sea of emotions without a paddle as they learn about each other’s feelings.
