Constraint based generation, such as WaveFunctionCollapse, has seen some interest, but not a lot of uptake beyond Caves of Qud. It's under-appreciated, imho, as it can do so much without much effort.

I'll give a whistle stop tour to inspire people with some of the things you can do with these algorithms.
