Ah, toxic waste... Deadly in real life but a great way to make fictional things more powerful than anything you could think of! :P

Today on Ancient DOS Games, we're taking a look at the sequel to Maniac Mansion, dubbed: Day of the Tentacle, an inventory-based adventure game developed by LucasArts and published in 1993, often regarded to be one of the best games of its genre!

------------------------------------------

Additional Information and Corrections:

* Here's a link to the page on GOG you can buy the remastered game from: https://www.gog.com/game/day_of_the_tentacle_remastered/?pp=91dfde1d6e005e422f64a59776234f1f4c80b5e4

* Technically, the full name of the game is "Maniac Mansion: Day of the Tentacle", however, the "Maniac Mansion" part of the title is VERY small and only included on the box art, so it's a bit debatable whether it should even be a part of the title when referencing the game. Since there's no sequel number in the title, most people refer to the game simply as "Day of the Tentacle", so that's how I'm doing it too. :B

* I found out just a short while after uploading this video that you can actually teleport items between characters automatically by dropping them onto the character portraits. I... never actually knew about this feature, not even as a kid! Streamlines everything IMMENSELY! :O

* Geeze, this whole episode was kind of a lesson in RTFM: Turns out you can turn the subtitles on or off simply by pressing CTRL+T. Wish I knew that sooner... :P
