Adrift (ADR1FT) Oculus Rift Gameplay Part 3 - SHOCKINGLY HARDCORE - Walkthrough

Adrift (stylized as ADR1FT) is a first-person adventure puzzle game developed by Three One Zero and published by 505 Games, designed specifically for the launch of the CV1 consumer Oculus Rift.
Adrift is set approximately 20 years in the future. You are Alex Oshima, an astronaut aboard a space station that has suffered a catastrophic failure. Your objective is to navigate the derelict wreck of the space station and find a way to survive, all while piecing together clues about what caused the disaster. Basically it's Gravity: The Game, which is a good thing in my book (though some more Sandra Bullock would be nice).
The game controls via a combination of the Oculus Rift and a traditional gamepad. You navigate using thrusters mounted on your suit which allow you to boost and pitch your way around the environment. However, using your thrusters depletes valuable oxygen, and so each motion must be carefully calculated if you want to survive.
Adrift's real selling point lies in its presentation, which is second-to-none where Oculus Rift games are concerned. The level of immersion is unlike anything I've seen in the Oculus Rift before. Your HUD is displayed on the inside of your space helmet, which feels both useful and like a natural extension of the game world, further increasing your immersion. The player fully interacts with objects free-floating in the environment, and the sense of presence is truly impressive.
The sound design fits perfectly with this emphasis on immersion: Alex's gasps, the beeps and boops of the suit and the space station, and the groans of twisted metal all come together to build that sense of presence.
