Adult Swim Adds Checkered Past for Millenials
14Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block is expanding its daily lineup by adding classic Cartoon Network shows to its schedule. The new block called “Checkered Past,” will feature shows like Ed, Edd n Eddy, Dexter’s Laboratory, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. It will replace some of the current Cartoon Network shows in Adult Swim’s schedule. The expansion comes after the success of Adult Swim’s previous one-hour extension of daily programming. The “Checkered Past” block will air Monday through Friday at 6 p.m., while Saturdays will consist of reruns of Adult Swim’s original shows, and Sundays will continue with the “Acme Night” block.
