There are a lot of things you can do in UE that are similar to Maya, but there's often a better way to do it that's unique to Unreal animation workflows—such as the workflow used in Maya called 'Space Switching' which is simplified and easy out of the box in UE.

We demonstrate some of the fundamental principles of this Space Switching methodology in Unreal Engine and explore how you can use it to extrapolate motion and get easy and free complex motion.
