You know, I still consider this one of the best games I have played. It is brutal to be sure, and they cut you no slack in the game, but it is a great game.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that there are numerous careless typos and a few oddities as well as some anachronism and awkward slang in use in the dialogue...well, I never said it was perfect.

Even so, it is such an enjoyable game including the realism, especially for the realism. I feel as if I have accomplished something after playing a bit of this game. In reality, I have actually achieved something, that something being at the least more than just button mashing or having participated in a glorified on-rail cinematic ride with minimal player interaction...which in itself is something both admirable and singular.

It's also a crying shame, but then I have found few games in my time that have ever offered just everything I could have wanted.

I guess there's nothing for it; I need to start making games!
