Advanced Tech for Resonating Shield, Magma Barrier, Shield Charge | Warrior Builds | Path of Exile 2
256This is a video idea I had for awhile as a lot of you keep asking me how Magma Barrier actually works. There's a bit of information on the tooltip but I figured I'd go over it in my own way and how I've found to best use it, alongside the other tricks I've been using with Resonating Shield and Shield Charge.
Resonating Shield can hit much faster if you are constantly starting a new channel as soon as the first shockwave appears. It takes a bit of practice but you can apply hit damage, hit effects, and obviously break armour MUCH faster this way, hopefully GGG doesn't nerf it as I don't think it's terribly overpowered but it may be unintentional.
Shield Charge is mostly about animation cancelling so that you're not locked into the slowdown or collision animations, which don't last too long but enough to potentially cost you a life if you get hit by the wrong attacks while just standing there.
Magma Barrier has a lot going on, and I go over how to activate it, how to trigger it, the internal cooldown if it fails, etc.
