Returning to PoE1 AFTER 12 YEARS! But is it better than PoE2? (Part 1)
45It's been awhile, Exiles. As most of you know, I am mainly a Path of Exile 2 player, however I did play Path of Exile 1 a long, long time ago. With all the hype built around the most recent expansion, Secrets of the Atlas, I figured now would be the perfect time to check it out again and compare it with my fresh Path of Exile 2 experience.
This is Part 1 in a two-part series, with this part focusing mostly on the campaign and leveling experience, alongside some of the events and systems you come across as you progress (e.g. Crafting, Field Events, Mercenaries, etc.)
Part 2 will focus on the endgame, and I wanted to make two videos on this as I didn't think it'd be fair to try and lump in a surface-level endgame experience in with an overall comparison; I wanted to give it a real shot with this Shield Marauder build I've slapped together and see how far I can progress relying on Shield Crush of the Chieftain as my main damage-dealer.
