Advanced V.G. 2 [PS1] - play as Final Miranda
This is a play-through using "Final" Miranda in the PS1 game Advanced Variable Geo 2. Read on below for more information...
Final Miranda is the 2nd form of regular boss Miranda, and is the last boss and final opponent you face in the Story Mode. She is an unplayable character.
===== About Final Miranda =====
She is quite simply a powered up version of regular boss Miranda, and she has exactly the same basics and special/super move list as her. There are a few differences between her and regular Miranda, as follows:
---- Gameplay-wise, the key difference is that Final Miranda has an infinite Max super gauge.
---- Graphically-wise, when she is on the ground, she emits particles of aura.
---- Graphically-wise, her colour palette is different to regular Miranda's default. Her hair is a lighter blonde; her outfit is grey (or brighter black); and her skin colour is slightly paler.
===== Additional Information =====
---- As she is an unplayable character, she does not have any win quotes, voice speech, interactions or dialogue in her winning screens and interaction/dialogue scenes in Normal Mode.
---- In her winning screens and dialogue scenes, you'll only get "......".
---- In Normal Mode, her Stage 7 mid-boss and Stage 8 last boss are both Yuka. This is because she has no arcade "story" programmed in. Therefore, you could fight Yuka up to 3 times in Normal Mode!
---- When you complete Normal Mode, she does not have ending. Instead, it just shows her winning screen and quote, and then it will go to the credits.
===== About Advanced V.G. 2 =====
This is a very nice game with good sprite-work, animation and a neat soundtrack. There is a deep Story Mode which focuses on the character Tamao, complete with unique images, anime-like scenes, dialogue text and excellent voice acting from all the characters. The zoom in/zoom out feature during fights is a very nice touch that gives the game a more dramatic look.
Gameplay-wise, with special moves, super moves, ultra moves and a flexible chain combo mechanic, it plays very much like a mix of Street Fighter and an Arc System Works fighting game. It's probably the most similar to Arcana Heart.
