Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has an unlock system that functions partially though "supply drops". These are packaged that contain 1-3 semi-random unlocks. They can be used to unlock weapons, camos, or character gear. However, I don't think I like this idea. It reminds me too much the BF4 battlepacks or the PvZ cards. Also makes me afraid of future monetization. Right now there are no plans to monetize, but I have no idea what the future holds.
