Adventure Roll : A New Future for Virtual TTRPG : Early Access First Look

Adventure Roll is in Early Access allowing you to go in and make your own maps and NPCs and that's what we want to take a look at today!
Adventure Roll in a Virtual Tabletop that is trying to give the graphics you would expect from a videogame with the tools a DM needs to play specifically, at least for now, Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, which has integration very well already. And Adventure Roll is trying to incorporate everything one might need for a full campaign into one package. I've talked about Talespire and I even use it for the visuals in the DnD campaign we are currently running on Twitch. But Talespire is going for more of a mini and board type approach while Adventure Roll is trying to look more immersive, a little less imagination. From the ability to make a character with their character creation tool, to the look and feel of the models and boards themselves. Although it is still a work in progress, I can see some big potential from Adventure Roll. I do believe there are some glaring issues that make it apparent it is still early on in development, but you can download and see it for yourself at no cost at the time of this recording. And this brings us to the first issue I can see, the way they are trying to fund this massive project : The Cash Shop. So upon getting into the GM or DM mode, there aren't many characters available to flesh out your world, however, there is a cash shop where one can purchase character slots to make your own character for $10 US, packs with more models, more prop pieces and entire maps. A starter kit cost $40 US, and I can see this model working well in many cases, although I think they should do a monthly subscription for DMs that allows all of the players access when logged into that DMs account, or an option to outright buy releases. The nickel and dime approach will get under the skin of a lot of people I think, and this early on, the first issue people are going to have is this : with the available options, can I really run my whole campaign on Adventure Roll, so is it worth the expense?

I can see a future here of creating maps and dungeons with all the traps, monsters, and rules all in place, so that players can try to make their way through with a virtual DM, pre-recorded things the creator recorded that activate upon certain actions taken by the players, such as walking into a room and it cues the pre-recorded DM explaining what they see, or as they walk across a bridge, it activates the event for the bridge to fall and the DM explaining the situation. Although this is just my imagination running a little wild, it would create an endless amount of adventures, and even an option for full campaigns to go up on the store, giving a piece of those funds to the creator. So what I'm talking about is that buzzword lately, a METAverse type feel for virtual tabletops and a place for people to go play and get their Dungeons & Dragons scratch whenever they want. Of course really popular and well built dungeons or adventures would get the most attention and Then you could create a YouTube or Netflix of TTRPG, and it feels like the pieces are almost in place for Adventure roll to do something this revolutionary. And developers, you can totally steal that idea and make it happen, I won't complain, I'll participate.
Also, if the developers can gain enough attention to convince Wizards of the Coast to do official maps of their campaigns or allow players to make maps and then be able to share with the community, you could have lightning in a bottle here.
