Most of you probably don't know about this, but a few years back, I was hard at work on my own RPG Maker VX Ace game. This is the game you see here, "Adventures of the Music Lobby". However, I gradually lost motivation to continue developing the project, so unfortunately, beyond the first demo release, I didn't get much further.

The version I'm playing has quite a bit more content and improvements over the original demo, but it's still been a few years since I've touched the project. Nevertheless, I still found it to be a rather fun playthrough despite the game's flaws. It was my first real project, and it was basically done off the cuff, where I'd work on the game whenever I came up with a neat idea. Many of the gameplay elements are Zelda and Final Fantasy-inspired, since they're two of my biggest influences. All the music in the game is written by me, as well as many of the sound effects. A lot of music went unused in the demo.

Sorry if the playthrough is kind of boring, I try to talk to every NPC and show off all the secrets (there are quite a few). There's no commentary, either, so if you feel like you're getting bored watching me play through it, there's a download link of the demo below. The goal was to make a game I'd enjoy playing, and, while it could use a bit more balancing, I'm fairly satisfied with how it turned out in that regard. I've always loved how games back then would have all sorts of little secrets and easter eggs strewn about, so that's why you'll see a lot of secret passages and hidden/obscured items.

While I currently have no plans to finish this, with the release of RPG Maker MV, I'll probably be screwing around a bit with that, so you can expect me to be working on something, I suppose. If you really wanna see this game finished, though, let me know! Part of the reason I became unmotivated was because very few people showed interest in the project.

You can download the game and play it for yourself here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/2ut4q0msbjdmyvj/Adventures+of+the+Music+Lobby.exe
