Aegis Defenders is an interesting blend of an action platformer and a tower defence game.
It run pretty well with the latest Proton version, and it supports controllers too. Though, it's still not Steam Deck Verified (its status is currently Unknown), I believe it could run pretty well on Valve's handheld gaming PC.
