Normally, I am not a fan of tower defence games, being pretty bad at them, but this game proved to be an enjoyable experience, also because it slightly mixed genres and added some platforming. Sadly, my brain was just too stupid and lazy to figure out the later puzzles in Aegis Defenders and I had to drop the game. Still, I can wholeheartly recommend buying it :). Aegis Defenders is a 2D platforming and tower defense game by Guts Department. The game originated as a project for USC’s Intermediate Games class and had a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2014. It was later picked up by publisher Humble Bundle in 2017 with Japanese publishing support from Kakehashi Games. All rights belong to their respective owners.
