A Pentagon report on the war in Afghanistan has found that insurgency in Afghanistan is growing in strength, and that levels of violence have reached a new high. The latest bi-annual report says that combat incidents have increased by 300 per cent since 2007. Also, more Afghans are said to fear for their safety, with those rating their security situation as "bad" at the highest it's been since 2008. British Forces News spoke to Lieutenant Colonel David Eastman, the spokesman for Task Force Helmand from Lashkar Gah in Afghanistan.
