After Han Solo, Will "A Star Wars Story" Die?
1,305This week Disney and Lucasfilm announced that the creators of the Game of Thrones TV show, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, would be crafting a new Star Wars TV series. When you couple this news with Rian Johnson’s new Star Wars trilogy being set in a different timeline with new characters, Collider’s Adam Chitwood speculated in article yesterday that Lucasfilm might be moving away from ‘A Star Wars Story’ sooner than we thought. Will this mean that the Star Wars standalone movie experiment be over?
Jedi Council’s Kristian Harloff and Perri Nemiroff sit down to have a conversation exploring this possibility and the news about Benioff and Weiss.
