1. Scout a location for the race.
2. Open the editor with the F11 key.
4. Make a new mission in the mission editor
5. Place the start trigger where we want.
6. Make the racepath.
7. Place in the start positions for the amount of ai you want to run and one more spot for the player.
8. Name the spots Racer Start and then number them from there.
9. Setup the track layout.
10. Save the racepath named 'race'.
11. In the mission editor and under your mission, assign the race path manually.
12. Open the vehicle group manager from the window/gameplay/menu
13. Click new group.
14. Select a vehicle and then use the arrow to scroll to the next slot. Add all the potential opponents that you want for the race.
15. Click File on the vehicle group manager and then click export.
16. Find your mission folder and save there with the name, 'racers'
17. Make the prefab
18. Add a new simgroup folder and put your prefab items inside then right click and select pack prefab named 'deco'.
If you are trying to make a race somewhere where there are no ai roads, you will have to lay one and add it to the deco prefab, make sure you change the drivability from -1 to 1. You can change the material here, if you want it invisible, type 'inv' in the material filter.
