Aim XR (AppLab) - Oculus Quest 2 Gameplay
0So I am a sucker for a shooter and I was told about this game and decided to jump in..
It’s a standard vr shooter with a lot of positives and a lot of negatives, here are a few..
Positives- gameplay is good, level designs are awesome, multiplayer lobbies are small so it’s easy enough to get into a game and graphically the game looks great
Negatives- when you have a game that isn’t full the server automatically fills the empty player slots with bots which can get annoying if you don’t be up on a team and it’s just you and boys which has happened to me soooo many times, gun mechanics aren’t great. The reloading isn’t as smooth as say Pavlov because your clip kinda hoovers above your gun belt and goes a green colour when it can be grabbed, also the shooting I found can be hit and miss. If you shoot from far away even if you are spot on you’ll miss and even if you are up close over noticed sometimes my shots just do not register and I end until getting killed..
Overall this is a very entertaining little shooter . Very basic and can be glitchy but fun to play. For a free game it’s worth a download but long term this game just doesn’t have the draw that so many other VR shooter titles have.
