AJ Courier-a Part 1 - Country Rooooads
Trains were not working this weekend, and I needed to take some supplies into the city, so here is some footage from the rail replacement service. This section of the journey takes us from just up the road from Pukekohe train station, through the semi-rural community of Paerata, and the urban boundary of Drury, in to Papakura train station.
I have only run the audio through a bit of a high pass filter, and slightly dropped the overall volume, so those who want just the general feeling of being on the bus themselves can do so - though there is some strange fuzziness that may have been from how I was holding my phone up to the window, or may just be because the mics are starting to fail.
Or you can throw on some favourite tunes as if you had noise cancelling headphones on. Maybe leave the video at around 20% or so for that experience.
Personal listening recommendation, for the run-time of the video, I suggest the following:

The mood of the pieces is pretty apt for my state of mind on the journey.
To be continued...
I have some older videos that I still need to upload, but this series tells a bit of a story, and I wanted to get them done sooner. The others have already waited a while, they can wait longer.
