From where we left off at Manurewa station, we head through Homai, wiggle our way by Wiri, pass by Puhinui, then push through Papatoetoe.
And we reach the end of the inward stage of the journey. The reason for the outing was to drop some supplies to my wife at Middlemore hospital, as our daughter has been in to be treated for an infection. We were hoping for a discharge this weekend, but she came down with a secondary illness, most likely a virus from being on the ward, and so the stay has to be extended while she recovers again. Current lockdown rules mean only one parent can be there, and no visitors are allowed. So the next step was a bench seat handover at arms length. And then we make the same journey back the way we came.
Once again, minimal audio changes, feel free to enjoy the ride as it is, or pair with some music of your choice, or if you want a suggestion, cue up the following to start at the same time. The final minute will be without music, but that is suitable.
