Icarus Launch! Beachhead
0This mission serves as an introduction to the main gameplay elements for surviving on the planet surface. For myself, something of a deja vu on the first mission in the 6th Beta Weekend, but not something I mind. Some things have changed, and only for the better. Being able to craft the cloth armour at character instead of having to grind for the crafting and textile benches after Level 10 feels much nicer for new players, or just early into a mission even for those with experience.
The game has been getting some mixed reviews, and while some good points have been made, it honestly feels like there is just a lot of pretty mindless hate without decent justification. I cover my thoughts about the game after this and my following session in my review on Steam:
