I mentioned a little about the level to detail the developers took to made this game look great. I mentioned the mini TV show series, the radio broadcast, etc. In a sense I feel this world building feels alot more real than alot of the games nowadays.
But upon thinking I did noticed something negative about this game, and is the combat does get a tad repetitive. Perhaps if the developers decied to make a game that focus on escaping the horror as oppose to confronting the error (i.e. Alan Wake and his flash light and putting a bullet in the Fallen's face!), I think this game will be even better. Then again, Remedy Studio always love the action packed gameplay so maybe it's simply not their cup of tea.
