So we were pretty hot and heavy to play the new Alien Covenant Arcade Game a couple weeks ago when we heard about it. Well, to our dismay, it's actually a rebranding of the Aliens Armageddon Arcade Video Game released back in circa 2012. Aliens Armageddon Arcade Game is no slouch by any means. LOVE that Arcade First Person Shooter Game! It's no slouch at all even though now a few years old. But it just feels a bit weird when a Company asks to have the logos, advertisements, naming, etc changed simply for the reason of selling Blue Rays of a Movie. It seems that this is quite possibly what happened. What we mean is this, the actual Gameplay for this Alien Covenant is the exact programming of the Aliens Armageddon Arcade Game. No different. BUT, the name, Game top logos, etc have been changed. Even the back of the Game Cabinet still identifies it as "Aliens Armageddon". There are few other minor cosmetic changes, but not worth mentioning. Again, Aliens Armageddon is no slouch of a Game...really beautiful. We just felt a bit let down is all. Will continue to play it more in the future with a full Playthrough soon.
