Alien Isolation was released in 2014, and is one of the few games that is faithful to its origins, namely the movie Alien (1979). I decided to reinstall it in early 2021, running all max settings on a PC @2560x1440p/75Hz capped.


This video shows several attempts I made to complete just one objective in the Crew Expendable DLC. I set the difficult to Hard, which is the recommended and second hardest out of 5 difficulty levels. And it is definitely hard... much harder than I remember when I last played the game 7 years ago! Highly recommended - the game is still very scary, disturbingly atmospheric, and the Xenomorph AI seems to have been polished to perfection.
