Some interesting choices;
- mobs acquiring random i-frames (typcially after a knockdown)
- difficulty option for game and energy
- shared credits (can't push start on player 2 to get 3 credits)
- friendly fire for "2 player co-op"
- competitive items for "2 player co-op" (you can steal player's health and energy in the shooting gallery sections (if player 1 tags something, player 2 is able to tag it))
- after you die you can use your special ability; robot can revive himself but will have 1 hp (this is limited by your energy and most consider it a glitch?)

I find this game to be slightly overtuned, even on easy is kind of hard. Cranking this to "hard" difficulty for both game and energy is quite the task.

running attack = dash + B (forward, forward (hold) + B)
dive tackle = C + B
leap shot = dash + C + B (forward, forward (hold) + C + B)

Running attack cause hit-stun
- mainly used this for this run

dive tackle cause knockdown
- because the random i-frames, I tend to avoid this

leap shot is a skill shot, easy to miss.
- On "hard" energy difficulty, this consumes too much energy
