Just had someone ask the question, figured I should actually test and confirm it. Yeah, the game currently tracks your shots fired on the Endeavor, which probably screws the meaningfulness of your weapon stats across the board.

Yes, I've reported this as a bug to Cold Iron, since shots fired and accuracy stats on the hangar should obviously not be included with actual gameplay.
And yes, for any new players, the reason I've got a 4 starred weapon I've never used in a mission is because when the game launched, all weapons had all the buffs from being 4 starred, though it didn't show it. Cold Iron patched that fairly early on to give everyone who had each gun already unlocked, 4 stars on it, since it already performed as a 4 starred gun. (Rather than resetting everyone's stats to 0 after any grinding people had done.)
