As expected - Resident Evil was a focal point of Capcom's showcase this week. But they had more than just the RE4 remake up their sleeves.
First they announced the "Gold Version" DLC for Resident Evil Village, which contains:
▸ Shadows of Rose DLC (takes place after main story, played in 3rd person)
▸ 3rd Person Mode for main campaign
▸ Additional characters for Mercenaries mode (Chris Redfield, Heisenberg, Lady Dimitrescu).
The DLC is coming 28 Oct. RE: Verse multiplayer title will also begin service on 28 Oct.
Also announced the next-gen versions of RE7, RE2 Remake & RE3 Remake, which feature 4K and ray-tracing options, improved framerate and 3D audio support. Any owners of previous gen versions can get a free upgrade on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles (excluding PS Plus collection).
