Alternative Sphere - Hard Mode ALL Clear 177 Quintillion (Hoshimi Sisters)
Second best score in the world!
The Hoshimi sisters make a return in the sequel to TWilight INSanity.
This game however plays quite a bit different from the previous one.
In this game you can select a supporter character that will act as a shield and as a deployable turret depending on how long you hold down the button.
You can cancel out of the shield any time you want but how longer you keep it out the longer it will take to recharge.
You can absorb most bullets in the game, however lasers and anything bigger than a medium sized bullet will destroy your shield and you will have to wait the maximum amount of time before you can use it again.
You also don't have any lives in this game. Instead your life is bound to the amount of bombs you have. Using a bomb normally takes up one lifeline and getting hit makes you autobomb and use up two lifelines, along with other penalties like not being able to absorb bullets.
Getting the required amount of Rate per stage allows you to go to the Reverse-Net version of the next stage. Everything in these stages is mirrored from the normal levels and it might be harder too, I'm not sure. You might need a few to make the TLB show up.
For scoring you obviously want to absorb as many bullets as you can, as well as collect all the e-crystals as they boost your multiplier by quite a bit.
This will usually involve getting the shield on top of bosses and enemies as this way you will get the most out of them.
For the final attacks of all the midbosses and bosses you want to capture them without getting hit or bombing as this will give you a x2 multiplier to the score you get from it, as well as killing the options for extra e-crystals.
Speedkilling the late normal boss attacks will boost your score by a gigantic amount.
This run was pretty decent but there are some pretty big mistakes all around.
Mostly not being able to milk the two most profitable attacks in stage 4 to their full extend.
As usual there are 19 different endings to obtain along with tons of different party setups, shottypes, dialogue and bonuses. So there's quite a bit of content to this game.
