Yeeech. Everything went wrong. Everything. Haven't done one of these in a while so I did not expect a great time but did not expect such an ugly seed to go with it.
Things that went wrong:
- Ended up getting every single unique item in the game
- 50% through the seed the right arrow on my dpad started to get stuck, leading to terrible execution for the rest of the seed. (this is because I stairpump with right...) The rubber membrane apparently had just gotten stuck in the depressed state. Wasn't until after the seed ended that I took the controller apart and fixed it.
- This caused a ton of terrible mistakes througout the second half of the seed, including simply running off of the edge in the ganon fight twice for no good reason
- Tried multiple times to death warp with a fairy in a bottle
- I need to learn how to actually do aga tower, I've never practiced it
- Should have checked ped while I was in the area before clearing SW. Had to go back and check it again.
- Went to DM hoping to quickly check ether tablet and hera big chest, only to realize that without mirror that would be a pain in the butt to do. Bailed out on that.
- Decided to do part of smithy chain before TR..."TR is probably the play here?? But if Ice rod is in smithy chain then that would suck.....but also, no mirror means smithy chain sucks...." I should have just went straight to TR.
- Full cleared SP because I didn't want to end up in a situation where ice rod was on ped or something
- Basically last-locationed ice rod.
At least I finished....
