Am I the new avatar? - Random Thursday 32 Dungeons & Dragons
1The post Aang and Korra avatar universe. Things are not looking so great. My friend has a great idea where the story should go. She asked all of us to make a character that wants to join the White Lotus and wants to find the Avatar. So that is exactly what I thought of making.
This video is my idea on how to make a great Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying character.

Background:
After the Earth kingdom fell in the coup of Ba Sing Se earthbenders, who resisted the new fire nation regime, were sent to forced labour camps. The camps were in the middle of the ocean with no earth around.
My grandparents, Sora and Yuki, were sent there, they were part of the leaders of the resistance while Ba Sing Se was still untouched. When My grandparents were freed, they were loss of their friends. They dedicated their life working with the white Lotus to restore the earth kingdom. They even worked with Avatar Aang to build Republic City.
My mother Ninsei was almost always on her own, my grandparents didn’t have time to raise her so a member of the white Lotus did. She disgusted the White Lotus because they had taken both her parents from her. At the age of 7 her earthbending was developed enough to sustain her own life. A member of the white lotus helped her through life, but she never joined.
Later when Kuvira was trying to take over the earth kingdom, she let several villages starve and even attacked. One of the villages was the village I was born in, just one raid was enough to kill both my parents. My earthbending mother defended the village, Kuvira did not like that and ordered her to be executed. My father was a non-bender and worked his life selling cabbages (MY CABBAGES!) all around the earth kingdom. One day he simply didn’t return, I hope I find out what happened to him. Just like that, I was an orphan, the white Lotus again helped my family by raising me.
Although I love my parents, I don’t want the same simple life, I want to follow in the footsteps of my grandparents and make my mark in the world. They were with the white Lotus, so that’s what I am trying to accomplish.
Now I’m 16, I can finally choose what to do, I joined the white lotus as bearer when they go out on important tasks. I already heard so many stories about the legendary Iroh, the dragon of the West, if he is as kind and strong as the stories tell, I want to be like him. Sadly, I’m a non-bender, I never got the ability of earthbending so my use here at the white lotus might be a bit underwhelming.
Now the Avatar is needed once again, a plague is rising up, thieves are lurking around all corners. Only the avater, master of all four elements, can bring balance to the world!
