AMAZING Results! Iridescent BURST of Color Magic ✨ DecoArt Paint Experiment - Abstract Art Painting
498Have you seen iridescent colors magically transform and change color when they are mixed with a dark background and are left to dry? If not, then you HAVE to see this one. I'm using a Dutch Pour technique, using DecoArt Iridescent Colors. I love the balance of negative space (the black) with the colors on top. I hope you have fun with this one, because I was AMAZED with how it dried.

Tutorial Information and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):
▶ ️ Technique for this Tutorial: Dutch Pour
▶ ️ Pouring Medium formula (unless otherwise stated in the video): My paints are mixed with paint, water and a pouring medium (Floetrol Owatrol) with a ratio of 1:0.5:2 - You may have to adjust your ratios depending on the paint brands you use.
Note: Floetrol Owatrol is thicker than the US version of Flood Floetrol so you might not need the water element when mixing your paints.
▶ ️ Cell Activator: When I use a cell activator, I use Australian Floetrol and Titanium White with the ratio of 4:1 - You can experiment with other alternatives like Silicone Oil, Vegetable glycerin, pre-stain wood conditioner or even just paint and water.
▶ ️ Color Palette for this Creation (Brand and Color Name):
DecoArt Americana Enchanted Shimmer - Blue, Gold, Magenta, Violet, White, Green.
Royal Talens Amsterdam: Lamp Black
▶ ️ Hair dryer: When I use a hair dryer I use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting and the lowest blow speed.
