Oh, Amazon, how I love you. I can buy pretty much anything I need on Amazon, including mattresses! The site offers its own line, the #AmazonBasics mattresses. I reviewed the 12-inch #AmazonBasics memory foam mattress. The bed-in-a-box mattress features four layers, and the top layer is a thick chunk of soft memory foam. The online mattress should also be a good option for lightweight sleepers, children, and teens. It is a basic mattress, as the name suggests, but it should be comfortable enough for those lighter people.
It is also a very affordable mattress. For under $300, shoppers can get a Queen-size, 12-inch memory foam mattress. This is a darn good deal.
However, the #AmazonBasics might not be the best mattress for back sleepers and stomach sleepers. It isn’t a very firm supportive mattress, so back sleepers and stomach sleepers might drop into the mattress.
The same goes for heavier people. Those who want a mattress for heavy people or simply like something firmer should look elsewhere.
The #AmazonBasics mattress should be a good mattress for side sleeping. The 12-inch mattress does have a thick comfort layer, and side sleepers should get some nice pressure relief.
