AMD Radeon RX 9080 XT is coming! Here are its features.
Technical details about AMD's new generation flagship graphics card RX 9080 XT, built on RDNA 4 architecture, have emerged. The model, which is expected to offer a significant performance increase compared to the current RX 9070 XT, is considered AMD's most ambitious solution so far for high-resolution gaming and professional graphics applications.
According to the leaked information, the RX 9080 XT comes with up to 32 GB of GDDR7 memory with a 256-bit memory bus. This feature shows that the card will make a big leap not only in terms of capacity but also in terms of bandwidth. The high-speed potential of GDDR7 memory will prevent the RX 9080 XT from experiencing a bottleneck in data flow, especially in high-resolution content.
One of the most striking points is the GPU frequencies. It is stated that the RX 9080 XT will reach clock speeds ranging from 3.7 GHz to 4.0 GHz. This value stands out as the highest speed range AMD has ever offered in reference graphics cards.
However, this level of performance also brings with it high energy consumption. It is estimated that the card will draw 450W of power. In terms of performance, it is stated that the RX 9080 XT will run 15% to 40% faster than the RX 9070 XT.
It was stated that this difference could increase to 28% to 30%, especially at 4K resolution. It is said that the card can leave the RTX 5080 behind in direct comparisons with rival NVIDIA models; it also has competitive potential against the RTX 5080 SUPER model, which has not yet been released.
The release date of the card has not yet been clarified. So what do you think about this? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
