AMD’s new Ryzen 4000 CPUs were announced for notebooks and portable devices at #CES2020, and we got hands on with the ASUS Zephyrus G14 R7 4800H laptop.

During AMD’s press conferences at #CES 2020, we were already busy getting hands on the ASUS Zephyrus G14 notebooks. The new line of laptops has most of the Ryzen 4000 CPUs deployed, ranging up to the 8-core, 16-thread Ryzen 7 4800H and down to the 6C/12T and 4C Ryzen 4000 CPUs. These are equipped with Vega graphics, but ASUS is shipping this model of laptop with NVIDIA RTX 2060 or GTX 1660 Ti solutions as accompaniments to the Zen2 4000-series notebook CPUs. We’ll cover specs for the new AMD Ryzen 4000 CPUs (listed below), new Athlon mobile CPUs, and briefly talk about the new AMD RX 5000M series of notebook GPUs.
