Well, it's been a long time, but I finally managed to get Episode 7 recorded before the end of 2019. Merry Christmas to the 5 Amid Evil fans who haven't unsubscribed from my channel yet! I gotta be honest, there's a reason I've been avoiding doing this one. I, uh, kind of hate this episode. I almost think it retroactively ruined the rest of the game with its shittiness, but I did hate it less upon this playthrough. That is to say, after the initial damage was done.
Episode 7 is quite a visually impressive work, but it's no fun to play at all. If you didn't like Episode 6's abundance of narrow walkways filled with enemies over pits, then you'll hate Episode 7 like I did. You don't die if you fall in the pits, but it's still really annoying. The enemies are very challenging on Evil, but remember that the Axe (slot 1) deals with the basic shadow enemies and the Voltride (slot 4) is good for the floating ball dudes. The shadow wizards are a pain with any weapon, though, and those Evangelion rip-offs deal way too much damage for how hard their lasers are to dodge.
