I apologize if the audio is distorted when it gets loud - I wasn't sure what to set the audio level at in OBS for recording.

I'm playing this blind. It just came out today.

So far, it's... interesting. Some easter eggs later identify Weyer and Brennenberg, so this is definitely an Amnesia: Dark Descent sequel.

But I don't feel as vulnerable as Daniel. Yet.

The character sets are more elaborate, but I haven't seen anyone else yet. Why didn't the others just take the desert (Salim said they went through the mountain)? Someone was calling on the radio, so maybe they made it. But why didn't I go after them by following the desert? Why did I press deeper into the caves? Because I thought I saw or heard Salim? And how did I get that odd compass? Oh, right, the wooden walkway broke and I fell into the chasm... they probably made it all the way across.

I wish I had entered those other two compass tunnels before falling into the pit. Maybe I missed out on some stuff - hopefully not, that wouldn't exactly be good game design. Watching another video, I missed a couple notes and pictures. And I had already forgotten some details - there's a lot of exposition being delivered fast in the first 15 minutes. And I was wandering around so haphazardly, I don't think I found what the devs wanted me to.

And it looks like I stopped the video just before a point where a lot of others stopped theirs. But I didn't want to get sucked into a new area that required more playtime - I wanted to stop the video before an hour elapsed.
