Amnesia: The Dark Descent #8
0Not a lot happening in this one - just a lot of exploration, and 25 minutes of backtracking to look for anything I missed, then a small revelation at the very end that allowed me to make some progress.
I was disappointed that I didn't get a second chance to run from the sewer creature - instead, it just wasn't there on my second attempt.
Agreppa is a chatty fellow.
Jarring the gear loose with my hand while jumping was a really obfuscated way of presenting a solution. Oh well, at least I got past it. But I haven't found any pieces of the orb at all (I guess I haven't found any torture chambers yet - somehow I'm thinking that's where they are), still can't get into the machine room, I don't know what the blood altar is for, and there's a door up top that won't budge and a large gate in the Chancel that won't open.
Hopefully the two big doors I opened will show me some ways forward next time.
