A soldier from the 2nd Royal Tank Regiment has become the first double amputee to race at the British Superbike Championships at the weekend.

Lance Corporal Murray Hambro lost both his legs in an explosion in Afghanistan.

He raced at Brands Hatch for the charity True Heroes Racing on a specially adapted bike.

LCpl Hambro told Forces News about the experience.
