Review and longplay / walkthrough for "Fruity Frank" on the Amstrad CPC!

One of the most beloved games on the Amstrad CPC 464, it's still great fun today! Released in 1984 - the same year as the CPC 464 was released it's a surprisingly brilliant little game that still holds up today! As you may remember I'm looking at all the best and most fondly remember CPC 464 games in the run up to the machines 30th Anniversary so this is a real good one to look at finally!

It's a very close clone of the arcade coin-op classic "Mr Do!" (I've included a little footage of that at the start of the video) although levels start repeating at level 7 onwards, although there are at least 3 different layouts per level that are random each time and also change when you lose a life. So I play through to basically level 8 (note it still says "Level 7" when you start!) where I show you cool technique (courtesy of another YouTube user "gigapalla" video done years ago) where you can build a little protective 'house' for yourself and rack up a massive score without ever dieing!
