73It's time for another horror game and today we take a look at a lost and forgotten title in the form of Amy. This game was only released as a downloadable game for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 and got very mixed reviews. Many actually consider this game quite awful.
The story revolves around a young woman who accompanies a mute child who has special powers. A zombie virus is spreading across the nation and together we need to make it to a science lab so they can use her powers to hopefully save humanity. And thus you will have to survive by sneaking, creating distractions, fighting and also solving puzzles.
Now I have played games like Beverly Hills Cop and the Playstation 2 version of Dune and those particular titles are absolutely awful. So to me a game like Amy does not even come close to one of the most awful games ever made. I actually really like the first 30 minutes or so with great buildup and suspense. Unfortunately the levels that follow are quite a slog due to repetitive puzzles that really take the speed out of things. And that is probably the biggest issue with the game. It's not that its bad, but its just all a bit dull and underwhelming. Nevertheless it is a game that is very difficult to acquire nowadays and thus it is perfect to be added to the archives on this channel, so that it will not be lost to time.
